Content Creation with Visa She’s Next Winner
Recently, I spent the evening in downtown Toronto at Stackt Market, a one of a kind shipping container repurposed market, home to local artists and foodies. The city views and unique vibes made the perfect backdrop to meet the winners of the Visa’s She’s Next program grant winners! The program is sponsored by Visa and supports unique women-owned businesses to receive grant funding across the Greater Toronto Area. I was lucky enough to spend the day with recipient Cynthia Arscott of Goldminds.
Goldminds’ mission is to teach mindfulness and regulated emotions to children with the aim to balance their well-being. The goal is better sleep and more peacefulness with children, especially those with anxiety and other habits that may affect sleep quality. The program consists of videos, classes and an app for parents and children to use with meditation before bedtime.
I joined Cynthia with the goal to capture the night’s exciting events. From a speaker series and panelist discussion to cocktail and meet-and-greets, Cynthia chose to be present and engaged throughout the evening. My goal was to be her eyes and capture content. Using the videos, we wanted a finished piece to remember the night and showcase to her followers.
After the event was over, I quickly got to work to turnaround a finished reel for Cynthia. Between a few edits and revisions, I received approval to publish. We made the reel a shared creation on both of our accounts for double the exposure. The overall turnaround time was less than two days and received thousands of views. You can view the finished reel here. Congrats to Cynthia and the other recipients!
